They only have 1 girl doing nails and one doing pedicure. So you can't just walk in but they don't tell you that you need an appointment. Very understaffed and unprofessional.
I have been looking for a new nail salon in this area bc my usual spot is 2 hours away and not so convenient when I'm in this area. I found this place on google and decided to give it a try. I called and made a 3:30 nail appointment with Julie to get a fill, and a pedicure for my friend and myself. We walked in and just kind of stood there waiting for someone to greet us. Didn't happen. After a few minutes we sat down and waited...and waited....and waited some more. 30 minutes later someone came over and asked if we needed help. I told her I had a 3:30 nail appointment with Julie (Who was doing someone else's nails this whole time) so she sat us in the pedicure chairs. It took another 20 minutes for her to start my friends pedicure while I just sat there (waiting again). I had to wait until my friend's pedi was done before anyone started mine. My friend eventually left bc it was taking so long. Julie started another person's nails even though I was sitting there waiting....so I sat some more. Finally, the gates of Heaven opened up and shown it's light on me because it was FINALLY my turn! I hobbled as fast as I could (my pedi was fresh, remember) over to Julie before she tried to take a third person in front of me. She started my nails, shaped and filled them, then asked the girl sitting to her right to finish my nails (buff and paint). I know what you're thinking, What in the actual *#$&! That's what I thought too....not only did I wait so long for everything but then the one person I had the appointment with pawned me off to someone else so she can go wax someone's eyebrows! I was so disturbed bc I asked for color 46, and was brought 47.....Me: Sorry I wanted number 46. Julie:Yes, 46. Me:Exactly....except 46 is pink...and this bottle is purple...and had 47 written on the cap. Now idk about you guys, but MY 46 doesn't require a 7 anywhere near it, lol. It also sucks that they don't have matching Polish. I get gel on my nails and regular polish on my feet. I now have 2 different colors bc there were none that matched. While I was there I saw a wallet on the table in the waiting area and pointed it out, a while later a woman walked in, picked up the wallet and said, "Julie my wallet was right here, this was the wallet I just called about" to which Julie smiled and nodded her head. So all in all, it wasn't the worst... but definitely not the best! I didn't leave until 6:30, and they charged me 60.00 for a fill and pedi. And one of my nails doesn't have acrylic on the whole nail...thanks Julie! I wonder if that lady got both of her eyebrows waxed or just half...like my nail? Hmm.
While I am normally not one to post reviews, I had to write a review after reading how inaccurate the one is below. Go read reviews on Yelp and you will quickly see.
The worst nails ever, and older fat Spanish woman working there is so mean and very nasty woman... I hope she kicks her out
Julie is an expert professional! Highly recommend.
This is the only place that I will go to in the area! The place is extremely clean, the service is warm and friendly, and I can count on a quality manicure. For any type of tips and gels, I use Julie (the owner) as she was recommended to me. She is a little shy, but is always so kind. This place is a gem!
